Gina Pérez-Calhoun
Gina R. Peréz-Calhoun was born in the Bronx, New York. She was raised in Puerto Rico, where she graduates from high school. She graduates from Texas Tech University in 1991 with a Bachelor in Political Science and minor in Russian studies. She obtained her Juris Doctor in 1994 from Boston College Law School. She admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in 1994. She has lived in Central Florida since 1994. Immediately upon relocating to Florida, she interned for Liberty Council where she wrote an Amicus Brief to the United States Supreme Court. She was admitted to the Florida Bar 1996.
Her community Service include volunteer International Liberty Council 1995-1996; 2002-2003 Member to OCPS Superintendent's Council on Hispanic Affairs; appointed to the Florida Bar Family Law Rules Committee since 2016-2018; Volunteer guardian Ad Litem for Orange County Bar; Member of Orange County Bar Association, Member of the Hispanic Bar Association, Prior Chair FAVO's Governmental Affairs Committee; Speakers for the Americans for Prosperity Foundation on the Constitution and and "Students Right in Class Room"; among others. The first president of the Orlando Republican Women's Network; and founders of Republicanos Unidos.
