Jose R,. Balasquide was born in Puerto Rico and has been residing in Central Florida since 1993. He has demostrated his leadership and community involvement by engaging in legislative efforts, political, and non-partisan educational campaings, and in the region economic development efforts, as Governamental affairs directors for the Puerto Rican Chamber of Commerce of Central Florida.  

    He has been battling for the fair redistricting of our state as member at large,  for the Executive Board of the Central Florida Redistricting Council. He engages  in the Legislative  Assitant at the Florida State Senate.  Mr. Balasquide had held the position of Florida State Director of Mi Familia Vota Educational  Fund, where he strides to increase the civic engagement  and votes participation in the State of Florida.  He is current member of the Board of Adjustments, Citizens Advisory Board of the the City of Kissimmee FL.              

 

     Mr. Balasquide studied at the interamerican University of Puerto Rico College of Business Administration.
